Education,
The Way You Want It
There are many different ways to study with us. To help you make the right decision, here is an explanation of all course attendance options.
Full Time
Full time courses require attendance for 5 days a week, this often incorporates work placement in addition to classroom based learning.
Part Time
We offer a number of programmes that can be studied on a part-time basis, offering you more flexibility to learn.
Fast Track
Fast Track students will attend college for two days per week in year one and one day per week in year two.
Day Release
Day release students will attend college for one day per week.
Block Release
Students will attend college from Monday-Friday for a period of time – this is dependent on the course undertaken.
Distance Learning
Our distance learning programmes do not require attendance at college for tuition. The course is taught using the online our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). All course work is created at work and in your own time and is submitted for assessment online.
Blended Learning
Students will learn by a combination of college lectures (usually attending for one day per week for the duration of their programme) and online learning.
Work-Based Learning
Students will study for their qualification on the job. A college, Work-Based Assessor will visit students in their place of work to assess their work and practical skills.
