Bespoke Training - Meeting specific needs
Whilst it is true that the College of Animal Welfare offers a wide range of courses that are extensive and of high quality it does not necessarily follow that these will precisely meet your specific needs.
The College of Animal Welfare has considerable expertise in animal care, animal welfare and the veterinary profession and offers consultancy work for many external organisations including government agencies, professional bodies, training organisations and a number of the leading animal welfare organisations such as the RSPCA, Dogs Trust, The Blue Cross and Wood Green Animal Shelter
The College of Animal Welfare has written induction programmes, training schemes, designed qualifications for national recognition and have carried out numerous training needs analysis for many organisations. We have also supported Lantra, the UK’s sector skills council for the land based sector, with various projects including the writing of training materials and workbooks. Several overseas training providers working in our field have also benefited from our expertise.
We also provide overseas training support, often in conjunction with other leading animal welfare organisations such as the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA). Our objective is to assist in improving local skills through education and training. In this way a significant improvement in animal welfare can be seen almost immediately.
