Animal Care (Level 2)
About This Course
Why Choose this course?
An Apprenticeship in Animal Care is the ideal course if you are looking for a qualification in animal care where the emphasis is on gaining practical experience and knowledge to back this up.
Apprenticeships allow you to ‘Earn whilst you learn’ meaning not only will you gain a nationally recognised City & Guilds qualification, you will have the opportunity to experience real day-to-day work as an employee.
Apprentices aged 19 and under will receive, at a minimum, the National Minimum Wage for Apprenticeships (£2.68 per hour).
Apprentices aged 19 and over will receive a minimum of £2.68 per hour in their first year and then receive, at a minimum, the full National Minimum Wage, appropriate to their age, in subsequent years.
I have found this course invaluable and a great step to a higher qualification when I have completed this course. I have been able to earn a wage whilst gaining experience and a qualification. This course is great for students who want to learn, but don’t like the classroom environment as it is all based around your working life
