Apprenticeship in
Horse Care (Level 2)

About This Course

Why Choose this course?

An Apprenticeship in Horse Care is ideal for you if you have experience of horses and are considering a career in the equine industry.

Apprenticeships allow you to ‘Earn whilst you learn’ meaning you will have the opportunity to experience real day-to-day work as an employee as well as gaining a nationally recognised City & Guilds qualification.

If you are passionate about horses and are looking for a qualification which has a significant practical element then look no further!

Apprentices aged 19 and under will receive, at a minimum, the National Minimum Wage for Apprenticeships (£2.65 per hour).

Apprentices aged 19 and over will receive a minimum of £2.65 per hour in their first year and then receive, at a minimum, the full National Minimum Wage, appropriate to their age, in subsequent years.

I really enjoyed my time doing the level 2 Horse Care qualification and learnt so much throughout the course. My assessor was very helpful and guided me well through my course, enabling me to complete it to the best of my ability
