Bite-Size: Animal Physiotherapy Part 2
Course Introduction:
These courses will provide delegates with an insight into physiotherapy techniques and patient specific, progressive rehabilitation treatment programmes for the musculoskeletal patient (Part 1) the neurology patient (Part 2) and the respiratory patient (Part 3). Each of the parts 1 -3 will focus on commonly encountered conditions seen in veterinary practice, and will have a case study and informal discussion format.
Course Content:
Delegates will consider:
? Indications for physiotherapy
? Assessment of the patient
? Formulating a problem list
? Patient specific treatment goals
? Physiotherapy treatment techniques
? Evaluation & progression of treatment
Entry Requirements:
Both student and qualified veterinary nurses who wish to improve their knowledge, understanding and application of physiotherapy techniques in veterinary practice.
