Veterinary Nursing Lecturer
Bonnie qualified in 2013 from Medivet College as a Veterinary Nurse, with an advanced certificate in emergency medicine and critical care. Since qualifying, Bonnie has worked in Thailand, Australia, Kuwait, India and South Africa, and has loved immersing herself into each culture. The VN qualification is recognized throughout the world, and has helped created many opportunities for Bonnie to travel.
Bonnie teaches on both the VN diploma and degree courses, specifically on the Clinical Nursing module. This module includes an emergency and critical care section, which is her main passion.
Bonnie has featured on the blog ‘Girls Gone Working’, and in ‘Vet Times’ on multiple occasions, speaking about her RVN experiences abroad. Bonnie was previously involved in the training of veterinary technicians in India and a pre vet student program in South Africa, which helped her decide education was the next step for her.
Currently based in the UK, Bonnie has a mare named Bex, and is a keen runner. She loves to travel as frequently as possible, and tries to incorporate animal charity work into her trips.
