Student VN: OSCE Preparation Day

Tuesday 22 September 2026 9:30 am - 4:00 pm CAW Leeds
£150 (£125 +VAT)

Preparing for OSCEs can feel daunting, but confidence comes with practice. This intensive one-day OSCE Preparation Day for Student Veterinary Nurses is designed to provide hands-on experience, expert guidance, and valuable feedback to help candidates approach their VetSkill assessments with confidence.

The day begins with eight tutor-led practical skills stations delivered using a structured 5-Step OSCE Teaching Model, allowing delegates to observe, practise, and refine essential veterinary nursing skills while gaining insight into assessment criteria and common pitfalls. Following lunch, participants will take part in a 12-station peer mock OSCE circuit, replicating the assessment environment and providing an opportunity to develop timing, technique, and exam strategy. The day concludes with a dedicated Q&A session, giving students the chance to discuss concerns, receive expert advice, and leave with a clear plan for their final OSCE preparation.

Ideal for student veterinary nurses approaching their practical assessments, this supportive and interactive workshop aims to build confidence, competence, and exam readiness.

Interested in exhibiting at our events?

  • Limited exhibitor numbers - Unlike larger congresses where hundreds of exhibitors often mean that visitors will not remember everyone, exhibition space for these events is strictly limited. As such you will get the opportunity to engage with the delegates attending our congresses personally.
  • Make meaningful business connections – Network with those that influence decision making in veterinary practice and make relevant industry contacts virtually.
  • Cost effective – with exhibitor packages starting from just £55+VAT, our prices offer value for money and fall considerably below that of larger events within the industry.
