Career Opportunities

An AAT qualification can open the door to a wide range of careers in accounting and finance, including roles such as accounts assistant, finance assistant, bookkeeper, payroll administrator, assistant accountant and accounting technician.

As you gain experience and progress through your qualifications, you can take on greater responsibility and progress into more senior accounting and finance roles. AAT qualifications can also provide a stepping stone towards further professional accountancy study.  You may decide, after doing level 4, to continue your studies by becoming a chartered accountant; in which case your AAT qualification will give you exemptions from certain modules from the UK chartered and certified accountancy bodies.
