We are small animal practice located in south london in the community of Thornton Heath close to Croyden. We are a small friendly team of 3 vets, RVNs and reception team.

Job Description:

One of our receptionists retiring in December and we are in need of an evening, part time receptionist / administrator to join our friendly team at the Thornton Heath branch, CR7 8LN.

The position would be 2.30pm-6:30pm Monday- Friday with Saturdays 8am-12 (Saturdays can be negotiated) You would be working alongside 2 vets, Registered Veterinary nurses and also a full time receptionist until 5pm.

As someone who is our front of house, first contact to our clients, we are looking for someone who is friendly, polite and approachable to our customers and their pets.

You must be competent in using computers and comfortable with using Outlook, Excel and Word documents. Training will be given on our practice management system and also on our Pet health care plans.

This role will include taking payments and cashing up, with some debt management. Attention to detail is a must.

There will be the opportunity to obtain BVRA qualifications and lots of support to develop this role.

You may also be asked to process insurance forms and other general administration duties.

Salary will be discussed at interview.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24.0 per week
