Job Description:

We are looking to add another enthusiastic, experienced RVN to our growing practice. We offer general and specialist veterinary services in a family friendly, independently owned, cheerful environment. Part-time hours may be considered.

The successful candidate will join an excellent team of staff including an Internal Medicine specialist (ACVIM), a surgery certificate holder, general practitioners and RVNs, working in modern well-equipped facilities. Cats are separated from dogs throughout their entire experience in our surgery – separate waiting areas, consult rooms, prep rooms, theatres and wards.

Duties include: assisting with outpatient consultations and procedures, preparing animals for surgery, monitoring anesthesia, taking radiographs, performing in house laboratory diagnostic tests, care of inpatients (monitoring and administration of medication), light reception duties (making appointments, taking payments, answering telephone calls), participating in nurse clinics (health checks, ecto- and endoparasite advice, nutrition and weight clinics), and the usual cleaning of clinical areas.
