About the Role:

We are now seeking a Veterinary Surgeon (VS), the role is responsible for the delivery of an efficient, professional and caring service to PDSA clients, providing a high standard of customer service and clinical care whilst also promoting pet wellbeing and delivering preventive services.


Hours of work are excellent they are 9:00am until 5.30pm, with one 8am start and one 6pm finish a week (lieu time given for any extra time worked) with an hour lunch break and two well-respected 15 minute tea breaks, During the working day boredom is seldom seen and job satisfaction high; with an emphasis on education and preventative treatment which is well received. The opportunity for surgery exceeds that of traditional private practice and there are a few medical challenges too. Our aim of providing a healthy life for all pets is at the heart of our dedicated and driven team.


Saturday morning rota only working 1:9. Vets Now provide out of hours.

About You:


The successful candidate will be an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon and responsible for updating their knowledge by attending regular CPD training. You will be involved in all aspects of clinical governance at the Pet Hospital, responsible for managing cases cost-effectively, encouraging financial contributions from clients, and making sure that PDSA resources are used appropriately.
