Job Description:
Our Registered Veterinary Nurses are the absolute back bone of our practice, and generally have a hand in most areas of the day to day which include carrying out schedule 3 procedures (subject to appropriate training), anaesthesia monitoring, scrubbing in, looking after our inpatient care, carrying out various types of nurse clinics, completing laboratory duties and much more! There will also be some reception duties when needed such as: taking telephone calls/inpatient enquiries, stock control and ordering and unpacking orders.
We try to keep things interesting/varied here at easipetcare, so our Registered Veterinary Nurses typically work full time, 40 hours per week, across 4/5 days, consisting of either an early shift (8:00 am to 4.30 pm) or a late (11:00 am to 7.30 pm). Our Nurses also work 1 in 3 Saturdays and in turn receive time off in lieu the following week and there is no OOH. However, we know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and we want to make it brilliantly easy for you to strike the right balance. Whether you are looking to fix or flex your work patterns, we can find the right solution for you. Part time applicants are also welcome.
Our friendly team consist of 3 Vets, 1 Head RVN, 2 Nurses and one SVN who are supported by our wonderfully efficient receptionists. Our clinic has an established client base, and our team are passionate about providing gold standard care to our clients and their pets. Salary up to £30,000 + 5k welcome bonus!
