Virtual classroom

If you are considering applying for a distance learning course, or applying during the pandemic, you may want to take a look at the following video to gain a better insight into how our virtual classroom looks. Our virtual learning environment (VLE) is a valuable digital space, that allows our learnings to access learning from the comfort and safety of their own homes.

Edinburgh

Our Edinburgh centre houses modern classrooms, a library and a fully-equipped computer room with full wireless internet access throughout. A superb dedicated clinical skills suite also enables students to practice their clinical skills whilst at College. Students wishing to undertake the BSc (Hons) Veterinary Nursing programme at Edinburgh or North London may wish to attend an open day at either Edinburgh Napier University or Middlesex University.

Huntingdon

Our Huntingdon Centre is also home to our head office. The centre contains a selection of modern classrooms, a library, fully-equipped computer rooms with full wireless internet access throughout. Our dedicated clinical skills suite, enables students to practice their clinical skills whilst at College, along with one of our dog grooming schools and canteen and rest area for students to take a break. Leeds

Leeds is our largest centre, with a range of modern classrooms, a library, fully-equipped computer rooms with full wireless internet access throughout. A large, light arena which is used as a dedicated clinical skills suite, enabling students to practice their clinical skills whilst at College, in addition to this there is a canteen and rest area for students to take a break. The centre itself also hosts a range of services onsite, including a veterinary practice, pet boarding facilities, a hydrotherapy centre and dog a grooming school. North London

Our North London Centre is our newest centre. Formerly based in Potters bar the new site is set within nearly 40 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with an ornamental lake that is inhabited by wild geese and swans in the North London Business Park. The business park offers a range of on-site facilities including two cafés, a private gym, hairdressers, a nursery, ample parking and open air communal seating areas. The centre offers modern classrooms, a library, fully-equipped computer rooms with full wireless internet access throughout. A superb dedicated clinical skills suite also enables students to practice their clinical skills whilst at College, along with one of our dog grooming schools, along with a canteen and rest area for students.

Wigan

Our Wigan Centre offers modern classrooms. It includes a library, fully-equipped computer rooms with full wireless internet access throughout. Solihull

From September 2020 The College of Animal Welfare will be offering students the opportunity to study their Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing at a new satellite centre based in Willows Veterinary Centre and Referral Service located in Solihull, West Midlands.

Willows is one of Europe’s leading Specialist small animal referral centres, experienced in delivering Specialist pet healthcare for over 30 years. The state-of-the-art hospital located in Shirley, Solihull is led by internationally renowned Specialists committed to providing the very highest standards of veterinary care. This is the perfect environment for budding Veterinary Nurses to learn the skills required to become a successful registered veterinary nurse.
