Job Description:
We are on the hunt for a Veterinary Care Assistant/kennel hand to join our team on a voluntary basis.
A perfect placement Opportunity for Animal Management, Animal Care, and Veterinary Care Assistant students!
The candidate will ideally be available Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8.30-6.30pm, with the potential for more hours if wanted - individual days may be considered alongside study with multiple applicants considered for each day. This role will involve cleaning, sterilising surgical kits, setting up and shutting down clinical wards, surgery and prep areas for daily inpatients and procedures, helping to restrain and medicate animals, assist our nurses with running lab tests and administration tasks. please note we work with a variety of species from small furries (rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, etc) to cats and dogs and sometimes even some birds and wildlife! A perfect entry level position to step into the Veterinary world.
