VN Practical Day: Haematological Cases (Huntingdon and Leeds)
Join us for an immersive day exploring haematological cases, with expert guidance on blood film interpretation, diagnostic approaches and case-based discussions. Designed to build confidence in understanding and managing haematology cases, this event combines theory with practical application.
VN Practical Day: Becoming Your Best Surgical Nurse (Leeds) – Develop your confidence, knowledge, and practical skills in surgical nursing and minor surgical procedures. Combining focused lectures, clinical discussion and hands-on practical sessions, we’ll explore suturing, wound management, skin biopsies, superficial mass removal, aural haematoma repair, selected amputations, feeding tube placement and the Seldinger technique for long-stay vascular catheter placement.
Practical Day: Leadership in Practice (Huntingdon) –This interactive practical workshop session explores the skills required to lead effectively, support colleagues, and contribute positively to practice culture. We will also guide you through the importance of personal boundaries within a leadership role, ensuring that whilst looking after the team, you also prioritise looking after you!
