Feline Age Related Diseases: Often our clients will remark about how the poor coat condition, or jumping up less is ‘just old age’, but it’s highly likely our ageing feline patients are suffering with at least one age related disease. Veterinary nurses are well placed to have conversations with clients surrounding this topic, and we can manage these patients effectively using a team based approach. This presentation will cover:
- The common age related diseases seen in cats aged 7 years upwards
- How to manage these patients effectively
- How to use recent literature to help us use evidence based medicine when supporting these patients
