This presentation will provide delegates with an introduction to regenerative medicine and the use of stem cell therapy in canines. As the lead nurse at Davies Veterinary Specialists for this new and exciting procedure, Emily will aim to cover what stem cell therapy is and the types of conditions it can be used to treat, as well as exploring some clinical based evidence. This presentation will explain the procedure for obtaining cells, the laboratory process and cell administration. It will also look at the role of a referral based RVN.
