The College of Animal Welfare will be offering the Level 3 Diploma in Equine Veterinary Nursing from a new satellite centre based inside Sussex Equine Hospital in Ashington (near Horsham) starting in September 2022, subject to approval.

During the course you will learn the key skills and knowledge needed to thrive as a veterinary nurse, and gain significant industry experience in a veterinary practice. Completion of the diploma will allow you to apply for professional registration as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

You can undertake the diplomas as standalone qualifications or train as an apprentice.

The College of Animal Welfare was established in 1989 by one of the leading animal welfare charities, Wood Green Animal Shelters in Cambridgeshire. Today, the college has eight centres across the UK and specialises in training in the land-based sector.

Set between Horsham and Worthing, the satellite centre in Ashington is located inside Sussex Equine Hospital.
