Placement Liaison Coordinator
Salary range - £26,000 to £28,000 (FTE)
Location: Home-based
Working hours: Full-time or part-time - hours by agreement
We are looking to recruit a friendly and enthusiastic Placement Liaison Coordinator. In this role, you will be sourcing placements for our students and delivering a high level of customer service by building and maintaining solid working relationships with employers.
Our ideal candidate should have a confident telephone manner, excellent administration skills and be able to work to deadlines. Sales or recruitment experience would be an advantage as would being a Registered Veterinary Nurse however none of these are essential, as full training will be provided.
The College of Animal Welfare is the UK’s largest veterinary nursing training provider amongst other programmes. We inspire our students to accomplish their ambitions and reach their full potential to make their dream careers of working with animals and joining a profession, become reality!
The College of Animal Welfare placement service has been established for over 25 years and covers the whole of the UK. We support under graduates, Diploma students and apprentices by working closely with employers offering excellent practical skills training in a real working environment.
Role:
The key purpose of the role will cover the following areas:
- Source Student Placements for veterinary nurse undergraduates and non-employed students
- Seek apprenticeship positions for students attending the college
- Assist students and apprentices facing redundancy find replacement employment
- Recruitment of learners including interview preparation, training and CV creation
- Support the College’s use of the government’s ‘Find Apprenticeship Training’ website
- Student placements administration
- Information, Advice and Guidance to learners and employers
