Job Description:

Registered Veterinary Nurse

We consider both newly qualified nurses and experienced RVNs who are looking to take on more responsibility and develop their leadership skills.

Green Vets is a growing independent veterinary practice in the city of York, where clinical excellence and genuine patient care are delivered through environmentally sustainable practices.

We pride ourselves on our traditional, no-targets, personal client care, whilst using state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to deliver the first opinion-plus veterinary service we are now renowned for.

We have a diverse team, ranging from new graduates to experienced certificate-holder vets. We provide a wide range of treatments at our single-site, state-of-the-art clinic and are keen to help any new members of staff develop their skills. Add to this experienced and friendly Veterinary Nurses, and we have a fantastic team of professionals!

We take our Green mission seriously, from important choices like purchasing all our electricity from suppliers that support the development of renewable energy sources to the smallest detail, like our uniforms, which are made from plastic bottles recovered from the sea.

Our vet-designed surgery was renovated with energy-saving, renewable materials, resulting in abundant natural light and ergonomic workstations. Add to that a fun and supportive team, and you have a wonderful place to work.

We are looking for additional RVNs who take pride in providing outstanding patient and client care and are keen to learn and expand their skills.
