ILM qualifications are respected by employers around the world, providing you with excellent career prospects; particularly when it comes to opportunities for progression into senior managerial positions.
As a student undertaking this qualification you will receive free studying membership with the ILM, which gives you access to a range of invaluable tools and resources that will compliment your management training. Studying memberships lasts for the length of your programme or a minimum of six months. Free resources include:

You will need to gain four credits to achieve the award, by choosing from the units below to suit your interests and job needs:
- Planning and allocating work (2 credits)
- How to motivate to improve performance (2 credits)
- Conflict management (1 credit)
- Stress management (1 credit)
- Understanding good practice in coaching within an organisational context (3 credits)
- Understanding good practice in mentoring within an organisational context (3 credits)
- Understanding leadership (2 credits)
- Understanding training and coaching in the workplace (3 credits)
Assessment
Each unit is assessed by a written assignment.
There are no formal academic entry requirements to undertake this qualification; we welcome applications from both those who are working in a supervisory/leadership role and those who are looking to gain this qualification to progress into such a role.
Please note: As our courses include online learning components, students are required to have access to a PC or laptop with a reliable internet connection.

The CAW Loans2Learn scheme is a personal loan that can help you to spread the cost of your course into manageable payments over a period of up to 5 years. If you have not achieved your qualification by the planned end date detailed in your individual learning plan, continued support and course access is available by paying monthly direct debit payments, or applying for a supplementary or increased loan, until certification is achieved.
