Set between Manchester and Liverpool the centre is near to the M6 and A49 New Link Road; it is easily accessible by both public transport and car and is a short distance away from Marus Bridge Retail Park. For full directions please see below.
The Wigan centre, spanning the 2nd floor of the building, boasts two lecture rooms, an IT suite, a practical skills centre and an office. The facilities are serviced by a lift and the centre is accessed by keypads.
Please note that no animals should be brought onto the College site unless permission has been given, in advance, by the centre manager.
The College will not be held responsible for any damages caused to your vehicle whilst on the College property.

The walk from Pemberton Station should take approximately 15 minutes.
From Pemberton Station
- Turn right as you come out of the station.
- Walk north-east on Billinge Rd/A571 towards Inglewood Ct
- Turn right onto Little Ln.
- Turn right towards Smithy Brook Rd
- Turn left towards Smithy Brook Rd
- At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Smithy Brook Rd
- Turn right onto Beecham Ct
- Wigan Centre will be on the right
Directions from Wigan North Western and Wigan Wallgate Stations
We recommend getting a bus from Wigan North Western and Wigan Wallgate stations. The bus journey should take approximately 16 minutes.
From Wigan North Western and Wigan Wallgate Stations
- As you come out of the station, head to Wigan Rail Stations Bus Stop A
- Take the no.10 Bus towards Leigh and ride the bus for 7 stops (approximately 8 minutes)
- Disembark at Little Ln
- Head south on Warrington Rd/A49 towards Parsonage Pl
- Turn right onto Smithy Brook Rd
- Turn left onto Beecham Ct.
- Wigan Centre will be on the right.
From M6 North
- Leave at junction 25
- At junction 25, exit towards Warrington Rd/A49
- At Bryn Interchange, take the 1st exit onto Warrington Rd/A49
- Turn left onto Smithy Brook Rd
- Turn left onto Beecham Ct.
- Wigan Centre will be on the right.
From M6 South
- Take junction 26
- At junction 26, take the M58 exit to Skelmersdale/Liverpool/Southport
- At Orrell Interchange, take the 2nd exit onto M58 heading to Wigan/Up Holland/A577/Shevington/Billinge/Orrell
- Turn right onto Orrell Rd/A577 (signs for Wigan)
- Continue straight onto Ormskirk Rd/A577
- Sharp right onto Ormskirk Rd/A577
- Turn left onto Tunstall Ln
- Turn left onto Billinge Rd/A571
- Turn right onto Little Ln
