This would be an ideal opportunity for a professional accountant who is looking for a senior role working for a privately owned group of companies that includes a college, an awarding body, learning technology development, commercial property and student accommodation interests. With a £10 million turnover and 300 + employees we are looking to recruit a professional accountant who aspires to be a leading influencer within a diverse and inclusive business. A desire to support our ability to innovate and succeed in future growth is essential.

Role:

This role will cover all aspects of the Group finance function, including statutory financial and management accounting, with a focus on financial processes and controls and the day to day management of the finance team. You will be a member of the senior management team and will report direct to the owners.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be a professionally qualified accountant having trained in practice or in industry. Commercial experience would be an advantage but not essential. You will have an eye for accuracy and good attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines while also naturally curious and goal oriented. You will be able to demonstrate where you have driven and implemented change.
