Job Description:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Dog Grooming & Practical Skills Trainer to join the team at our Leeds Centre!

The successful candidate will be passionate about passing on their knowledge and skills to dog grooming students, as well as advancing the grooming school in its commercial growth.

The role involves delivering quality learning to all students across a range of grooming courses and providing outstanding support to students.

Lecturing or training experience is desirable but not essential as within your first year you will be encouraged to undertake a nationally recognised and professional teaching qualification. We will aim to have you confidently trained as quickly as possible to start your journey into teaching. You will have a mentor who will be able to point you in the right direction and we will support you in every aspect of your role.

Role:

The key purpose of the role will cover the following areas:

  • Lecturing across a range of courses (Grooming)
  • Assessing for Grooming
  • Course Tutor
  • Careers Events
  • Delivering high-quality grooming services to client
  • Prepare client consent sheets for dog grooming appointments
  • To book in and exit dogs for dog grooming appointments/ maintain client details
