We’re delighted to announce the launch of Dog Grooming Awareness Month (DGAM) this July.
This new campaign aims to celebrate the dog grooming profession and highlight its vital contribution to the health, comfort and wellbeing of dogs. Throughout the month, we’ll showcase dog grooming as a skilled and rewarding career, while raising awareness of the training opportunities available for those looking to join or progress within the industry.
We aim to bring together groomers, students, employers and dog owners to celebrate the profession and support its continued growth. We’d love you to join us in spreading awareness and recognising the passion, care and expertise that dog groomers bring to their work every day.
Our theme for 2026 is: Love Dog Grooming
This year’s theme celebrates everything that makes dog grooming such an important and fulfilling profession – from the skill and dedication involved in every groom to the positive impact groomers have on dogs and their owners. Throughout July, we’ll be highlighting the passion, creativity, wellbeing benefits and career opportunities that make the industry so special. We encourage groomers to share what inspires them and what they love most about their profession.
